As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the services we offer to the retail industry, 100% hosted its 5th annual International Retail Installation Conference in Manchester, UK.
The day before the UK officially left the European Union, the conference welcomed attendees from offices across Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, Russia and Turkey which represents the company’s global reach. This strong partner network of international installation offices will continue to play a pivotal role in delivering the high quality that 100% has become synonymous with.
The conference addressed the post-Brexit challenges, with a subsidiary corporate entity in the Netherlands, 100% are well placed to continue to trade seamlessly with customers and suppliers based in the EU. Our warehousing in the Netherlands has been increased to enable frictionless transport between European borders and avoid possible delays at channel crossing points. The message from the leadership team at 100% was loud and clear – we are not worried about Brexit and we have planned to ensure that our service remains of the highest standard to our international customers.
The two day event also focused on sustainability where the vision for 2020 was shared. There were also some incredible success stories from around the partner network including TREEDOM in Italy which enables companies to offset their carbon footprint, a South African project that is turning POP displays into furniture to benefit schools in Namibia and displays from the Turkish market being converted into musical instruments! These projects all fit with the vision that 100% has for its business to become the most sustainable global retail installations expert.
There was hands on training for all attendees on the new client displays and a communication and quality workshop where ideas were shared by all of those in attendance. The evening saw a drinks reception and dinner hosted by Managing Director, Dan Williams, which was a chance for the attendees to get to know one another in a more informal setting.
Dan Williams commented, “Our international network of strategic partners is what sets our company apart and enables us to deliver such high quality workmanship across the world. The people who attended our conference are a vital part of our success to date and our growth plans for 2020 and beyond. Having them all together helps us to share ideas, learn from our challenges and strive to maintain our position at the forefront of the industry.”
